Personal Development: There are so very many books on personal development – I have suggested a few that I found particularly useful/insightful. This list is certainly not exhaustive. The Enneagram Made Easy (Baron/Wagele) The Wisdom of The Enneagram (Riso/Hundson) Enneagram exploration allows each of us to explore ourselves with some humour but acute perception. A more satisfying exploration as insight is given into how, in a given context, the personality traits stretch into other behaviours in stressful or relaxing circumstances. Enneagrams provide an enjoyable journey, which can be done individually, as an aid to personal relationship development and of course to assist in professional interactions, team building and most importantly sustaining and transitioning of individuals and teams. Drop The Pink Elephant (McFarlan) One of the easiest and most delightful books I have had the pleasure of indulging in. Every page provides humour and teases each of us to reconsider our language, both in internal dialogue and every interaction we participate in each day. The Structure of Delight (Nelson Zink) A wonderful book equally belongs in the NLP recommendations as an excellent way to gain insights into filters, limiting beliefs and gaining confidence! Recommended by the excellent - Tim Alberry of Life Works (www.lifeworks.uk.com ) Fountainhead (Rand) An excellent novel, of one man’s dream, tenacity and experience. Breath-taking in its depth and detail and truly uplifting. The Tools of Leadership (Landsberg) A neat and concise book for developing leadership skills. The size belies its practical knowledge and amusing delivery … a tidy format with easy learning. Time to Think (Kline) A fascinating book about Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment™. This book provides detailed understanding of some of the methods, structure and benefits to be gained by alternative approaches by enhanced listening and co-operation skills.
